2026 Hall of Fame Inductees

Salesian College Chadstone’s Hall of Fame provides an opportunity to recognise alumni who have achieved significant success in their chosen fields and made meaningful contributions to their professions and communities.

In 2026, we are proud to honour three alumni whose diverse paths reflect these achievements and whose journeys continue to serve as positive examples for current and future students.

We are pleased to announce our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees:

Dirk Nannes (SCC 1991)
An internationally recognised athlete, Dirk Nannes achieved elite success in both winter sport and cricket. A former Australian Olympic mogul skier, he later became one of the fastest bowlers in world cricket, representing Australia and the Netherlands and competing in major leagues around the globe. Dirk now works as a cricket commentator and hotelier, and his remarkable sporting journey continues to inspire the Salesian community.

Raff Ciccone (SCC 2001)
Raff Ciccone is a Senator for Victoria in the Australian Parliament and currently serves as Chair of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security. Since entering the Senate in 2019 as Victoria’s 100th Senator, Raff has played an important role in national policy across foreign affairs, defence, and national security, while remaining actively connected to Salesian through visits and engagement with current students.

Michael Logarzo (SCC 1996)
Michael Logarzo is one of Australia’s leading tennis coaches, with a career spanning professional play and elite player development. A former national champion and Australian representative, he has coached internationally, including at all four Grand Slams. He has worked with players such as Zoe Hives and Daria Saville and leads his own nationally recognised academy. Michael also contributes to the Salesian Sports Academy, supporting the next generation of athletes.

2025 HALL OF FAME

On Friday 5 September 2025, our community gathered at Huntingdale Golf Club for the Salesian College Hall of Fame, a morning of connection, recognition and pride.

This year, the Hall of Fame took on a new format with a breakfast event, a wonderful way to begin the day together. Alumni, staff, families and friends came together, shared stories and celebrated the achievements of two remarkable Salesian College Chadstone alumni who continue to inspire through their dedication and contributions.

Inductees
Young Achiever Inductee, James Sullivan (SCC 2009)
James is a leading lawyer in ASIC’s Markets Enforcement team, recognised for his work upholding corporate integrity in Australia’s financial sector. A two-time Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Award winner, James has led major investigations into breaches of financial services laws. Beyond his legal career, James is deeply committed to youth empowerment, serving as Chair of Youth Without Borders and founding Australia’s largest mooting competition, the CIArb Australia Vis Pre-Moot. A proud Salesian graduate, former Debating Captain and recipient of Bronze and Silver Salesian Awards, James is celebrated for his leadership, advocacy and commitment to social impact.

Hall of Fame Inductee, Michael Savage (SCC 1980)
Michael’s journey from Salesian College Vice Captain in 1980 to visionary entrepreneur exemplifies courage, creativity and community. After an early start at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Michael discovered his true path in business, first co-founding a plastering company, then creating the beloved Enchanted Adventure at Arthur’s Seat. A passionate employer and innovative leader, Michael is celebrated not only for his achievements but for the opportunities he has created for others.

The morning was an opportunity to come together and celebrate our values of leadership, service, creativity and connection, and acknowledge those who continue to inspire our community. We congratulate James and Michael on their induction and thank all staff, alumni and friends who joined us for a morning that truly reflected the spirit of Salesian College Chadstone.
