Associate Professor Peter Foley (past student) is a world-renowned clinical dermatologist with a wealth of experience in the treatment of psoriasis. Currently Associate Professor, Department of Medicine (Dermatology) at The University of Melbourne, Peter is also Director of Research at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc, and a visiting dermatologist at the Photobiology, Phototherapy and Biologics Clinics at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. Peter is Australia’s only councillor on the International Psoriasis Council, has authored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and has been an investigator in over 50 clinical trials.

Lorena Bravo (current parent) is experienced in providing quality Aged Care at Arcare, one of the most innovative aged care providers in Australia. Lorena prides herself on her knowledge of Arcare’s values, their relationship-centred model of care and their ‘Senses’ framework of providing the elderly with an environment in which they feel a sense of security, continuity, belonging, purpose, fulfilment and significance. As OH&S Representative at Arcare, Lorena Bravo understands the importance of assessing and mitigating risks within the workplace. Lorena endeavours to welcome residents and their families to the Arcare facility, and devotes herself to ensuring continuous staff improvement.
Mr Calvin Gordon

Calvin Gordon (past student) is Chief Financial Officer at Quanta Services Australia. With an MBA and Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Calvin is a member of the Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA). Calvin has over 20 years extensive experience in construction and asset management companies operating in Australia and abroad, and he is well versed in the areas of project finance, international taxation, treasury, insurance, project management and corporate finance.
Dr Joe Ciccostosto
Senior Research Fellow, University of Melbourne
Dr Joe Ciccotosto is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. He has been actively researching several Neurodegenerative diseases over the past 18 years, and his main research focus is identifying the toxic species that causes Alzheimer’s disease pathology. Dr Joe has published over 50 peer-reviewed journal research articles and book chapters. He has been invited to give lectures on his work at both international and national scientific meetings and universities. He was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship (Human Frontiers Science Program Organisation) when working at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore USA and he has successfully obtained grant funding from Australian government funding bodies, NHMRC and ARC during his academic career.

Mr Stephen J. Moloney
A barrister for over 27 years, Stephen Moloney practises in corporate and commercial law, administrative and constitutional law, equity, professional negligence, insurance, banking and finance, defamation, trade practices, property law, medical negligence and professional discipline. He particularly specialises in public law and the regulation of medical practitioners throughout Australia. Stephen is the Chairperson of the Medicare Participation Review Committee of Australia and an ex officio member of The Alfred Hospital Human Research Ethics Committee. Long associated with the Salesians and their charism, Stephen is the nephew of Salesian priest Fr Frank Moloney, a world-renowned Biblical scholar.

Rita Davis (current parent) is a finance professional with 28 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors. A Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Rita has experience in resource management, financial analysis, performance evaluation, stakeholder management, governance and reporting. With a longstanding interest in education, Rita worked in vocational education, higher education and adult community education for over 15 years, and at the Victorian Department of Education and Training for over 11 years. Rita is former Chair of the Holy Eucharist Parish Education Board, and worked to support not-for-profit organisations in meeting their compliance obligations at the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC). Rita currently works as a finance manager for a state government regulator and is a board member of Yoga Australia.

Rosemary Fazio is a current parent with a longstanding connection to the Salesian Community in Chadstone. As a former Learning Support Officer at Shelford Girls’ Grammar, Rosemary is passionate about creating a safe learning environment, equipping herself with evidence-based knowledge and a holistic approach to education. With a strong passion for lifelong learning, Rosemary recently acquired a qualification in Education Support, and is currently studying the Orton Gillingham Approach, a direct, multisensory approach to teaching literacy and maths.

Current Parent with over 30 years’ experience in the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments
Philip Heaphy (current parent) has over 30 years’ experience in the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments, in water management policy. Over the past 20 years, Philip has held a variety of senior executive positions in various Departments responsible for the water portfolio. With a strong personal interest in governance, Philip is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for public benefit organisations. Philip was Chair of the St Mary Magdalene’s Primary School Education Board from 2004 to 2013, and a member of the Catholic Education Office’s School Board Chairs’ Advisory Committee during this period. In his public service career, Philip has represented his Division, Department and the Victorian Government on numerous working groups, committees, project control boards and senior officer groups.
