Year 7 Biretta Science Excursion

On Monday 11 November, 7B took a trip to Valley Reserve to take a look at the local ecosystem and how humans have affected it. Throughout the morning, there were two sessions running.

The first session was a walk through Valley Reserve, which provided us with valuable information about the reserve and the human impact on the natural area.

The other session, a water watching activity, gave us an understanding into the local aquatic life that inhabited the local creek and how tolerant each organism was to human impacts.

It was a great experience and everyone learnt a lot about the different human impacts on the ecosystem of Valley Reserve.

We will use the information and data we collected for our PBL Science project.
