ACC Hockey
Senior Hockey- The senior hockey boys took on St. Bede’s at St. Bede’s. The boys had a tough match coming up against a very strong line up in St. Bede’s. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were 4-1 with a St. Bede’s win. Well done on the season boys!
Year 10 Hockey- The year 10 hockey boys took on St. Bernard’s at St. Bernard’s College. The boys really pushed St. Bernard’s but unfortunately we couldn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were St. Bernard’s 4 and Salesian 0. Well done on the year boys.
Year 9 Hockey- The year 9 hockey boys took on St. Bernard’s at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boys knew it was going to be tough with the boys knowing how good St. Bernard’s are at hockey. The final scores were Salesian 3 to St. Bernard’s 1. Really good effort from the boys to make the grand final for next week. Well done boys!
Year 8 Hockey- The year 8 hockey boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boys knew they needed a victory and a big victory to make finals. The boys did extremely well to win the match 15-0. Well done boys!
Year 7 Hockey- The year 7 hockey boys took on Whitefriars at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boy knew they needed to win with finals on the line. Whitefriars came to play and played very well against us. The final scores were 6 to 1 with a Whitefriars victory. Well done on the season boys!
ACC Basketball
Senior B Basketball- The senior B basketball boys took on Parade at MSAC. This was a crucial match with next week being the grand final. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match with Parade being a very strong basketball school. The final scores were 49 to 32 with a Salesian victory. Well done on the win boys!
Year 8 A & B Basketball- The year 8 A&B basketball boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG. The A’s played first with St. Joseph’s winning 100 to 29. The B’s played next with losing the match 55 to 22. Well done on the season boys!
Year 8 C & D Basketball- The year 8 C&D basketball boys took on St. Mary’s at Waverley Basketball. It was the final matches for both the C’s and D’s for the year. The C’s played first with playing well but not getting the win on this occasion. The final scores were 39 and 22 with a Salesian lose. The D’s played next and played well with a competitive effort but similar to the C’s, St. Mary’s won the match 34 to 21. Well done on the season boys and hopefully you continue basketball at Salesian College next year!
Year 7 A & B Basketball- The year 7 basketball boys took on Whitefriars at Waverley Basketball. This was the last game of the year with the A’s starting and not getting the results they wanted with a 41 to 26 lose. The B’s played next with hoping to finish the season well with a 63 to 29 lose. Well done on the season boys!
ACC Table Tennis
Year 9 Table Tennis- The year 9 table tennis boys took on St. Bernard’s in the Semi Finals at MSAC. The boys needed the win to get into finals and they played extremely well to do so. The final scores were Salesian 11 matches and 48 sets to St. Bernard’s 4 matches and 27 sets. Well done boys and good luck for next week!
Year 8 Table Tennis- The year 8 table tennis boys toon on St. Joseph’s FTG at Mannix Campus. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match but the boys did well to win the match 13 matches and 61 sets to 2 matches and 14 sets. Well done boys!
Year 7 Table Tennis- The year 7 table tennis boys toon on Whitefriars at the Jennings Room on Bosco Campus. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match but the boys did well to win the match 11 matches and 52 sets to 3 matches and 19 sets. Well done boys!
