Final intensive rehearsals are happening after school and on weekends to ensure our cast, band and crew can bring you a fantastic show at the start of next month. Performing Arts staff from both schools have been working incredibly hard, but not as hard as the cast, to guarantee this. Ms Curtis has been doing a great job ensuring the choreography provides you with some show-stopping dance routines, Ms Quill from Sacred Heart has made sure all the actors know their moves and Ms Patton has been a tireless rehearsal pianist as our principals belt out their songs.
Actors will get to work with Mr Little and the Band on Sunday July 30 and the stage crew are busy mapping out all the complex scene changes that are required.
We are all very excited to move the show into the Alexander Theatre on Wednesday August 2 and will spend 4 days there. This journey began in February and we are almost at the end; for some of us this will be our last College Production.
It’s a funny show and it’s a great show.
