Year 9 VCD students have been learning how to follow the Design Process that underpins the development of a design, as well as exploring the use of industry standard software, Adobe Illustrator. They are designing a skateboard in the Bauhaus style that reflects contemporary music. It is both a current and historic process that encourages them to merge their favourite Artist with the simplicity and geometry of the Bauhaus style. It is interesting to discover the variety of music genres that the boys listen to. This project has long been a popular task for the students because of its open ended aspects and the use of technology.
