Last week, six Year 9 cycling champions from Salesian College participated in the Pedal Power program at Melbourne Girls College (MGC). This innovative program stores energy generated by cycling into a battery, which will power a movie night.
Salesian College joined teams from Camberwell Boys Grammar and Camberwell Girls Grammar. Upon arrival, MGC warmly welcomed our students and explained how the bikes work and how our efforts would contribute to powering the event. With just one bike in the race, our Salesian boys emerged victorious, proving their teamwork and determination.
A fantastic opportunity for our students to engage in hands-on learning and contribute to a creative, sustainable initiative!
