Intermediate Sport (Yr 9 & Yr 10)
Our Year 10 Basketball teams faced a tough challenge against Parade College, with both the A’s and B’s competing strongly but ultimately going down 55–32 and 52–40 respectively. The Year 9 Basketball teams also came up against quality opposition at Parade, falling 54–23 in the A’s and 51–29 in the B’s. Despite the results, all four teams continued to work hard throughout their matches and will look to bounce back next round. The Year 10 Table Tennis team fought hard away at Emmanuel College but were defeated 10–5. The Year 9 Table Tennis team produced an excellent performance, defeating St Bede’s (East Bentleigh) 11–4 with a number of strong individual victories. The Year 9 Hockey team battled well against St Bernard’s but were unable to overcome their opponents, going down 4–1.

Senior Sport (Yr 11 & Yr 12)
Our Senior Basketball teams enjoyed a successful afternoon at home against Emmanuel College, recording impressive victories of 40–32 (A’s) and 43–39 (B’s). Both teams displayed excellent composure in close contests, executing well in the closing stages to secure the wins. The Senior Hockey team faced a strong De La Salle outfit and were defeated 6–1 despite competing hard throughout the match. The Senior Table Tennis team also came up against quality opposition, falling 11–4 to De La Salle. While the results didn’t go their way, both teams continued to show determination and sportsmanship.

Junior Sport (Yr 7 & Yr 8)
The Year 8 Hockey team recorded one of the highlights of the week, securing a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Emmanuel. A disciplined defensive performance and a well-taken goal proved enough to claim the win. The Year 7 Hockey team was involved in a tightly contested match against De La Salle but were narrowly defeated 1–0. On the basketball court, the Year 7 teams faced a strong Parade College outfit, going down 50–38 (A’s) and 66–14 (B’s), while the Year 8 teams were also defeated by Parade, 72–39 (A’s) and 67–11 (B’s). In Table Tennis, the Year 8 team battled hard against Mazenod but fell 10–5, while the Year 7 team faced a strong St Bede’s (Mentone) side and were defeated 12–3. Despite the challenging results, all junior teams continued to compete with great effort and will take valuable lessons into the next round of competition.
