From innovation to education and history, our Year 9 Biretta students experienced the richness of China through three unique lenses. In Fuzhou, students explored Juncao technology, gaining insight into sustainable agricultural innovation and its global impact.
In Chongqing, they were immersed in authentic school life, learning alongside local students and experiencing the rigour and culture of Chinese education. In Xi’an, students connected with thousands of years of history through cultural exploration, highlighted by a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Army. This international experience challenged, inspired, and broadened their understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
Armed with these immersive experiences, our Biretta and extension students will now apply their learning to design evidence-informed policy proposals and social enterprise initiatives that address real-world challenges through the lens of global citizenship, innovation, and advocacy.
