ACC Cricket
Year 7 Cricket
The Year 7 cricket team faced Parade at Salesian College Bosco Oval.  Salesian won the toss and chose to bowl. Parade had a strong start, scoring 5/137 off 20 overs. Salesian batted next but fell short of their target, managing only 7/43 off 20 overs. Parade emerged victorious on a very good day for cricket.

Year 8 Cricket
The Year 8 cricket team played against Parade at Parade (Garvey Oval). Salesian batted first, scoring 7/56 off 20 overs. Parade took their turn and managed 7/60 in a challenging match at Parade College. Well done to both schools for a highly competitive game in Year 8 cricket.

Year 9 Cricket
The Year 9 cricket team faced Whitefriars at Salesian College Bosco Oval. Whitefriars won the toss and chose to bat. The boys knew it would be a tough day against a strong Whitefriars team. Whitefriars scored 2/147 off 20 overs. Salesian needed a strong batting performance, but unfortunately, they fell short, scoring only 7/39 off 20 overs.

Year 10 Cricket
The Year 10 cricket team competed against St. Bede’s at St. Bede’s (Mentone). The boys knew they needed a win to secure a place in the finals. They lost the toss, and St. Bede’s scored 6/159 off 20 overs. The boys recognized that the target would be challenging to chase, but they put up a competitive effort, scoring 4/103 off 20 overs.

Year 7A & 7B Volleyball
The Year 7 Volleyball A & B teams faced off against St Bede’s at Springers Leisure Centre.

The A team knew that St. Bede’s was a strong contender for the Year 7 finals. The final scores were 2 sets and 65 points for Salesian College, while St. Bede’s secured 1 set and 68 points.

The B team played next, needing a win for the finals. The final scores were 2 sets and 65 points for St. Bede’s, and 0 sets and 55 points for them.

Year 8A & B Volleyball
The Year 8 Volleyball A & B teams took on St. Bede’s at Oakleigh Recreation Centre.

The A team started first, not performing at their best. The scores were 3 sets and 75 points for St. Bede’s and 0 sets and 55 points for them.

The B team played next, being highly competitive but falling short of a win this time. The final scores were 2 sets and 73 points for St. Bede’s and 1 set and 56 points for them.

Year 9A & B Volleyball
The Year 9 Volleyball A & B teams faced Mazenod College at Ashburton Recreation Centre.

The A team played first, aware that Mazenod was a strong opponent. Unfortunately, they lost the match 3 sets and 73 points to 0 sets and 40 points.

The B team played next, trying to keep their season alive for finals. They also couldn’t secure a win, with final scores of 2 sets and 73 points to 1 set and 59 points.

Year 10A & B Volleyball
The Year 10 Volleyball A & B teams played against Parade College at Parade College (Bundoora).

The A team played first, knowing it was their last game of the season. The match didn’t go as planned, with final scores of 3 sets and 75 points for Parade College and 0 sets and 42 points for them.

The B team played next, also in their last match. Unfortunately, they didn’t win either, with a final score of 3 sets and 75 points for Parade College and 0 sets and 61 points for them. Well done on the season, boys!

ACC Tennis
Year 7 Tennis
The Year 7 tennis boys faced Parade College at Oakleigh Tennis Club. The boys knew it would be a tough match, as Parade is a strong ACC tennis school. The final scores were Parade 8 sets and 54 games, while Salesian managed 4 sets and 31 games.

Year 8 Tennis
The Year 8 tennis boys played against Parade College at the Parade College Tennis Courts. They embarked on a lengthy bus trip to Parade College in Bundoora. The boys performed well and remained competitive. The final scores resulted in a Parade College win, with 8 sets and 60 games to 4 sets and 35 games.

Year 9 Tennis
The Year 9 tennis boys competed against Mazenod at Oakleigh Tennis Club, aiming for a crucial win to stay in contention for the finals. Although they put up a strong performance in a close match against Mazened, they fell short of victory. The final scores were 6 sets and 77 games for both teams, resulting in a thrilling match. Well done to both teams for a great game.

Year 10 Tennis
The Year 10 tennis boys faced St. Bede’s at St. Bede’s tennis courts, needing a win to secure a spot in the upcoming finals. They achieved a significant victory with 7 sets and 68 games to St. Bede’s 5 sets and 60 games. Both schools played well. Congratulations on the win!
