Year 9 Cricket- The Year 9 cricket boys took on St. Bede’s at Salesian College Bosco Oval. The boys started the match really well, getting St. Bede’s all out for 10. The boys won the match in style and finished the day with a score of 1/39 off 9 overs. Well done, boys, and hopefully, this form can continue
Year 10 Cricket- The Year 10 cricket boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod College. The boys knew it was going to be a tough day with Mazenod always being strong competition. The boys batted first and made 2/122 off 20 overs. Mazenod came out to bat, and our boys bowled well to secure the win in the end. Mazenod scored 3/101 off 20 overs. Well done, boys, on your very good start to the season.
ACC Volleyball
Year 7A & B Volleyball- The Year 8 volleyball boys took on Simonds at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The A’s played first, and the final scores were 2 sets and 75 points to 1 set and 56 points. The B’s played next, trying to follow on from the successful A team result. They won the match in 3 sets, with a score of 75 points to 0 sets and 48 points. Well done to both teams.
Year 8A & B Volleyball- The Year 7 volleyball boys took on Simonds at Carlton Baths. The A’s played first with excellent form, winning 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 49 points. The B’s played next, aiming to play as well as the A’s. The boys did just that, winning the match with 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 41 points. Well done, boys, and good to see the Year 7’s enjoying playing in ACC teams.
Year 9A & B Volleyball- The Year 9 boys took on St. Bede’s at Ashburton Recreation Centre. The A’s played first, winning the match in style with 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 51 points. The B’s played next, taking on a tough opposition. Unfortunately, the boys didn’t secure the win this time, with the final scores being 2 sets and 66 points to 1 set and 57 points. Well done to both teams on their efforts throughout the match.
Year 10A & B Volleyball- The Year 10 boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod College. The boys knew it was going to be tough, as Mazenod is one of the best schools in the state at volleyball. The A’s played first, with Mazenod winning convincingly, but our boys gave their all. The final scores were 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 45 points. The B’s played next, starting well and finishing even better with a win against Mazenod. The final scores were 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 67 points. Well done to both sides on the day.

Year 9 Tennis- The Year 9 tennis boys took on St. Bede’s at Oakleigh Tennis Club. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match, with St. Bede’s always being a strong opponent. The boys didn’t secure the win but did well to compete with St. Bede’s. The final scores were 8 sets and 79 games to 4 sets and 67 games. Well done to both sides on the day.
Year 10 Tennis- The Year 10 tennis boys took on Mazenod at Nottinghill Pinewood Tennis Club. The boys played well, drawing the singles with Mazenod. The boys finished strongly to secure the win by winning the doubles. The final scores were 7 sets and 75 games to 5 sets and 67 games in a tightly contested match. Well done to both sides on a great contest.
