The Mannix Learning Precinct brings Years 7 and 8 students together in a dedicated environment designed specifically for early secondary learners.
This means:

By focusing on these formative years, we can build the habits, confidence and connection boys need before the challenges of later schooling emerge.

Flexible, light-filled learning spaces encourage curiosity and collaboration, while structured environments provide clarity and confidence. Every element has been designed to ensure boys feel safe, supported and ready to engage. 

Here, learning extends beyond academics. Boys grow socially, spiritually and emotionally, discovering their strengths, forming friendships and developing a strong sense of purpose. 

As part of our College Master Plan and delivered in partnership with McIldowie Partners and Newpol Construction, this precinct embodies our commitment to placing relationships at the centre of learning and supporting every student to become their best self. 

Stage 1 includes the Bartholomew Garelli Year 7 House and the Michael Magone Year 8 Centre; modern, purpose-built spaces that honour our heritage while embracing contemporary design and innovation. 

The Mannix Learning Precinct ensures Salesian College Chadstone remains a place where boys grow academically, spiritually, socially and physically.
