Last Friday, 2024 Proxime Accessit Joel Knight returned to share his experience and insights in a Specialist Maths Masterclass. Joel achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.3, placing him in the top 1% of Year 12 students across the state.
He spoke about common exam pitfalls, including how tools like ChatGPT can sometimes overcomplicate equations. Joel also reminded students that using triangle methods can save valuable time in exams and that consistent practice strengthens problem solving and thinking skills.
