Shrove Tuesday, and the competition was tough! The Betty Burger flippers on the BBQ were in their element, and the Heads of House brought that calm “we’ve done this before” expertise.
Plenty of laughs, lots of flipping, some excellent customer service and some seriously stacked pancakes.
Shrove Tuesday marks the day before Lent begins. Traditionally, it was a chance to use up rich ingredients like eggs, milk and butter before a season of simplicity and reflection. A pretty great way to start the day together.
