We are pleased to announce the appointment of Byron Chen to Assistant Principal – Faith, People and Culture.
As Pastoral Care Leader and VCE Biology Teacher, Byron has made an enduring contribution to the life of the College. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to student wellbeing, academic growth, and the values that underpin a Salesian education. While he finds great reward in working directly with students, he recognises that creating effective leaders among staff is where the greatest impact will be.
An accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Byron brings both expertise and empathy to his work, fostering a culture where students and staff are known, supported and empowered to thrive.
In this next chapter of his leadership, Byron will continue to guide initiatives that strengthen our commitment to holistic education — ensuring every student is equipped to grow with confidence, compassion and purpose.
