Making headlines in the Herald Sun today, Salesian College Chadstone unveils our next generation uniform, developed in partnership with Uniform Group, our trusted schoolwear partner for 24 years, and iconic Australian fashion designer Peter Morrissey. Designed with contemporary style, modern fabrics, and day-to-day practicality in mind, the collection reflects our College colours, values, and commitment to preparing students for the world with confidence and pride.
Peter Morrissey brings runway expertise to the schoolyard: “Fashion is not just about how you look, it’s about how you feel. These uniforms are designed to help students show up confident, polished, and proud.”
Principal Mark Ashmore highlighted the importance of community input: “We are proud to be the first school in the country to unveil a uniform collection curated by Peter Morrissey. Our students, staff, and families have all contributed to this process, and the result reflects our Salesian identity while meeting the evolving needs of our young men. What they wear plays a role in preparing them to step into the world with pride, presence, and purpose.”
The new uniform will be available for purchase for families from December 2025, marking an exciting new era in schoolwear. This launch comes alongside national recognition from The Educator as a 5 Star Best School and state recognition with the Child and Youth Empowerment Award, showcasing the innovation, excellence, and student focused approach at Salesian College Chadstone.
