Our Salesian College Chadstone community came together to celebrate a significant moment in the faith journey of nine students as they received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Celebrated by Fr Brian Ahern, the Sacramental Mass was shared with families, friends, staff and students from 7D, who were there to support two of their classmates receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
In the weeks leading up to the celebration, the students took part in preparation classes led by Ms Barcellona, supporting them in their understanding of the Sacraments and the significance of the commitment they were making. Ms Barcellona also played a special role in the celebration, serving as Godparent to one of the students.
Following the Mass, students, families and staff gathered for refreshments and the opportunity to celebrate together.
The occasion was a wonderful reflection of the faith, belonging and community at the heart of Salesian College Chadstone. We congratulate all nine students on this important milestone and are proud to walk alongside them as they continue their faith journey.
