This morning we were delighted to join with Avila College to celebrate International Women’s Day at a special breakfast hosted at Avila.
A highlight of the morning was hearing from Nicole Donnison (Avila Alumnae, Class of 1994), Social Procurement & Inclusion Manager at Icon, one of Australia’s leading construction companies.
Nicole shared how the construction industry is about much more than buildings — it’s about creating meaningful and sustainable social impact through thoughtful and inclusive infrastructure planning, design and delivery.
As a woman forging a path in one of the most male-dominated industries, Nicole’s leadership and experience provided an inspiring reminder of the importance of challenging gender imbalance and encouraging future generations of women to consider exciting and rewarding pathways in this sector.
