As end of year celebrations begin across the College, our Year 7 students came together for their final assembly to celebrate all they’ve accomplished in their first year at Salesian College Chadstone. Stepping into secondary school is a big milestone, and it has been wonderful to see to see the many ways they have embraced new challenges and contributed to our community.
The assembly was joyful and fun, filled with spirited staff and student Christmas competitions, all led by our students. Year 7 Year Level Leader Olivia Raphael invited our students to reflect on their year, celebrating the ways they have grown and learned. She reminded them that the College is a place where each of them is known and belongs and encouraged them to carry this sense of connection forward by focusing on “doing the ordinary things extraordinarily well” as they continue their journey at the College.
