Last Thursday, we gathered at the iconic MCG for our annual Business Lunch for an afternoon that brought together business leaders, alumni, partners and supporters of our College community. It was more than a networking event; it was a moment to reflect on what becomes possible when education is grounded in integrity and when young people are empowered to shape their stories with humility, purpose and strength.
From the energy in the room to the conversations shared across tables, the event captured the essence of who we are as a community; one committed not only to excellence, but to the character and wellbeing of the young people entrusted to us.
A Powerful Keynote from Ben Crowe
We were honoured to welcome Ben Crowe as our keynote speaker. As one of the world’s most respected mindset coaches and storytellers, Ben delivered a message that resonated long after the applause ended.
He spoke about the power of authentic leadership, the importance of grounded self-understanding, and the mindset shifts that help us navigate the pressures of modern life. From reframing “I’ve got to” into “I get to”, to examining the expectations we place on ourselves and others, Ben encouraged us to return to what is essential: connection, compassion and trust in our own inner wisdom.
