Our Junior (Yr 7-8) and Intermediate (Yr9-10) Teams competed in the second division across seven rounds against five other schools, earning fifth place for the Juniors and second place for the Intermediates. The boys’ attitude, conduct and sportsmanship were impeccable.
Notable achievements included Wissam Malaeb, Chris Peppas and Tristan Nguyen all scoring 5 out of a possible 7 points for the day, and Anthony Phung promoting so many pawns in a single game that he had six rooks on the board.
