ACC Sports Report

ACC Cross Country
The ACC cross country took place at Bundoora Park, Bundoora. The day was a bit windy but we had sunshine for the day. All the boys were excited to compete for Salesian College and they all tried their hardest throughout the day. The event kicked off at 10am with the Year 7 students running first. The U13 boys finished 5th in their division. Calvin Gillispie was our best runner with a time of 11:44.8. He finished 31st in the division. The Year 8 students ran next with the U14 boys finishing 7th in their division. Ethan Gemetzis was our best runner with a time of 10:58.2. The Year 9 students ran next with the U15 boys finishing 3rd in their division. Special mention to Zac Booth who finished 2nd in the division, with a time of 10:15.4. The Year 10 students ran next  finishing 6th in their division. Our best runner Julian Severino, came 4th in the division with a time of 18:06.5. Extremely good effort to nearly come top three. The Year 11 students went next finishing 5th in their division. Our best runner Marcus Churchill-King, came 18th in the division with a time of 18:41.5. To finish the day, our seniors went last with the boys finishing 6th in the division. Our best runner Peter Holland finished 9th. Really good effort to come in the top 10. His time was 18:32.8.

Really good to see the boys enjoy the last ACC carnival for the year. Hopefully the boys can keep training and we do well again next year!
