Year 9 Hockey- The year 9 hockey boys took on De La Salle at Waverley Hockey Centre. The boys played really well with a tough side in De La Salle. This was the grand final and the boys put in 100% effort through out the match. The boys did very well to end up winning the match 3-2 with a last-minute goal to get the boys in front. Well done boys and that makes these boys winning two in a row. Well done on the season boys and everyone at Salesian College is proud of your achievements.

Year 8 Hockey- The year 8 hockey boys took on Parade at Parade College (Preston Campus). The boys knew it was going to be a task with them being the best side in the competition. The boys had a good start but didn’t finish as they would like with a 3-1 loss. Well done on the season though boys.

ACC Basketball
Senior B Basketball- The senior B basketball boys took on St. Bede’s at MSAC. The boys were nervous and excited as it was going to be the last game for the season and also for the boys as most are in year 12. The boys knew it was going to be a tough ask as they were playing a very good school in St. Bede’s. The boys played well and hard in the grand final but didn’t get the result in the end with a buzzer beater for St. Bede’s to get the win. The final scores were 49-47 with a St. Bede’s win. Good work on the season boys and those in year 11, hopefully you can make another grand final next year.
