ACC Football
Senior Football- The senior football boys took on De La Salle at TH King Oval. It was always going to be a tough match against De La Salle who finished on top of the ladder and who also won the grand final last year. The boys were full of excitement and energy as it was the grand final and last match for the season. The boys came out with plenty of intensity but De La Salle were very skilled and made better decisions at times. The boys fought through but didn’t get the win in the end. The final scores were 12.5:77 to 4.11:35. Very good effort in the end with making it to the grand final, hopefully those boys in Year 11 next year can follow the boys in year 12 this year and make another grand final in 2024. Well done for those boys in Year 12, who have now finished their journey for ACC football and have contributed so much time into ACC football over their 6 years at the college. Well done boys and good luck for the future.
ACC Soccer
Year 7B Soccer- The year 7B soccer boys took on St. Bentleigh at the Salesian Mannix Bottom Pitch. The boys played a good game in the grand final, which the boys were very excited about. The boys played really well to have a 3-1 win. Well done on the season boys and it was such a good effort to come out victors. Well done on the victory and hopefully this momentum can go into the next season.
Year 8B Soccer- The year 8B soccer boys took on Parade at the Salesian Mannix Bottom Pitch. The boys played well in tough conditions. The boys had a good performance with winning the match 2-0. Well done on the season and hopefully the boys can go back to back in the following year. Well done on the season and it was good end to the season for the 8B boys.
Year 8A Soccer- The year 8A soccer boys took on Parade at Waterford Pitch. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on the day. The boys lost the match 2-0 in a close game. The boys with a few out tried their heart out. Well done on a great season boys and hopefully next year the boys can make another grand final.
