Arts week was held in Week 2 and involved lunchtime activities and games and daily quizzes with prizes. It was great to see students and staff getting involved in all aspects of the arts; visual, dramatic, musical as well as screen based.
Along with a daily quiz, there were some lunchtime activities for students to come along and get involved. Monday’s Pictionary competition was a great opportunity for different year levels to mix and have fun drawing visual clues. Tuesday’s involved impromptu performances based on random cues and performed in Houses. Wednesday was a celebratory screening of movies made by students from different year levels. Thursday’s lunchtime event involved student band performances in the Hall.
A big thankyou to the student leaders for Arts, Music, and Drama as well as the Cultural Ambassador for running and promoting the events, as well as the Arts staff for their provision of time and resources.
