This year’s International Women’s Day was celebrated in collaboration with Avila College. Our Student Leadership team began the day at Avila with their annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, with guest speaker Jane Kanizay; Artist, Mountaineer and Educator.
Later in the day, Salesian, Avila and Sacred Heart staff and students joined together for a high tea lunch, brainstorming about society issues that impact women.
Today we reflect on this year’s theme of International Women’s Day and work together to #embraceequity.
IWD belongs to everyone, everywhere. Inclusion means all IWD action is valid.
