ACC Cricket
Year 8 Cricket – The year 8 cricket boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Wally Tew Reserve. The boys played well in the last match for the season. The boys won the match. The final scores were Salesian 3/66 off 14 overs to 9/65 off 19 overs. Amongst the best were Noah White, Nathan D’Mello and Lucas Smith. Well done boys.
Year 7 Cricket – The year 7 cricket boys took on Emmanuel at Salesian College. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were 3/121 off 19 overs to Salesian 3/120 off 20 overs. Amongst the best were Noah Montgomery, Luke Yankov and William Newman.
ACC Tennis
Year 9 Tennis – The year 9 tennis boys took on Parade at Parade College Tennis Courts. The boys did very well after a long road trip to Parade, the boys played well and knew they had to win to get through to the grand final next week. The boys did very well and won the match. The final scores were 7 sets and 74 games to 5 sets and 73 games. Well done boys and go well next week.
Year 8 Tennis – The year 8 tennis boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Ferntree Gully Tennis Courts. The boys played well and did very well to win the match on away turf. The final scores were Salesian 8 sets and 60 games to 4 sets and 32 games. Well done the win boys.
Year 7 Tennis – The year 7 tennis team took on De La Salle at Oakleigh Tennis Club. The boys did really well and had one of the better wins for the season at year 7 tennis with winning the match at Oakleigh Tennis. The final scores were Salesian 12 sets and 72 games to 0 sets and 7 games. Well done boys, really good effort.

Year 10B Volleyball – The year 10B volleyball team played Emmanuel at the State Volleyball Centre. The boys played very well against a very strong school in Emmanuel. It was the semi finals and the boys had to win to get through to the grand final. The boys did very well with winning the match 3 sets and 94 points to 1 set and 31 points. Really good effort boys and hopefully the boys can win the grand final next week.
Year 9B Volleyball – The year 9B volleyball team played Whitefriars at the State Volleyball Centre. The boys had a tough challenge, especially after losing to Whitefriars during the regular season. It was the semi finals and the boys knew they had to find a way to win. The boys did well and everyone played extremely well. The boys won the match and are now through to the grand final next week. The final scores were 3 sets and 98 points to 1 set and 81 points. Well done boys and hopefully a win next week.
Year 7B Volleyball – The year 7B volleyball team played Parade at the State Volleyball Centre. The boys had a tough match, especially knowing Parade is a very strong volleyball school. The boys lost the match with the final scores being Parade 3 sets and 75 points to 0 sets and 40 points.
