Year 8 Religious Education

Year 8 students have recently been experiencing the hands-on dimension of religious education, making their own stained-glass windows by drawing on the symbols and stories of the Christian tradition. For each panel, a Gospel story was depicted and its key messages translated into different colours and symbols. The activity provided an opportunity to re-enter the life of Jesus, to discuss aspects of Christian theology, and to explore imaginative ways of expressing the central mysteries of our faith.
