On Monday the 16th of May, the Year 9s visited the lofty hills of Don Bosco Camp Centre in Lysterfield for our Reflection Day. Given the previous climate of COVID, this was our first opportunity to participate in such an exclusive day. Making use of the lush farmland, the open landscape was practically begging for outdoor adventures. In between our activities, we had deep and meaningful conversations; discussing ethics, our values, and what life meant to us. As Salesians, we highly value the virtues of compassion and belonging and this day allowed us to connect with these values and reflect. Overall, it was a great day, and certainly one to remember.
