Year 7 students are learning about ‘What it means to belong to a Catholic Community’ in the Oratory Program this term. One of the activities was to visit a display which was set up for students to explore and investigate some of the significant signs and symbols of the Church. In investigating these, the students then are working through what then mean of contemporary culture and more importantly, want they mean to them. A highlight of the display was the Easter symbols. Learning about the symbols of Easter also made the Resurrection Mass, that each student attended today a richer learning and faith experience.
