Year 11 Mathematics – Rock Paper Scissors

Ever heard of high-stakes game of rock, paper, scissors? In Japan this game is just not for little children, but it is a game that is broadcasted on national TV. This week the year 11 General Further Maths entered the minds of the Japanese contestants and had our own tournament, with some added Mathematics of course. Using this game we model the understanding of dominance matrix, where players play each other once and we use dominance matrix to see which player was the most dominant.
