It’s been 57 years since Melbourne won a VFL/AFL Grand Final, so we asked Class of 1959 past student and former back pocket Melbourne Football Club Premiership player, Frank Davis what focus advice he had for players:
“Do your best not to get caught up in all the hype. As a player prepare yourself as you normally would. Try not to play the game in your mind or get overawed, just remember it is just another game of football and try to play your best, remembering it is a team game. Go Dees.”
