Senior Sport

Basketball A – It was another tough loss against a very strong St Joseph’s FTG team. We went down 33-56. Stefan Fernando, Jaylen Gordon and Nathan Bui were our best players.

Basketball B – Another disappointing loss, going down 34-65 to St Joe’s. Our best players were Joe Curtis, Kevin Lee and James Carrig.

Hockey – We were outclassed by a very strong De La Salle team, losing 12-2. Scott Fisher, Chris Nielsen and Julian Lieu were out best players.

Table Tennis – A great win against De La Salle, 14-60 to 1-15. Our best players were Kenny Pham, Jivan Datt and Johnny Phylactou.

Intermediate Sport

Year 9 Basketball A & B – A very bad day for us in Year 9 Basketball, with both teams going down by big margins against Parade.

Year 9 Hockey – A great 6-1 victory against Parade, with our best players being Ash Curry, Daniel Amendola and Sebastien Huppe.

Year 9 Table Tennis – A tough loss against Parade, going down 1-16 to 14-59. Andrew Chen was our best player, who is also yet to lose a match this season. Noah Sharrock and Jacob Mitchell also played well.

Year 10 Basketball A – A narrow loss against St Joseph’s FTG, going down 33-43. Cosi Fornaro, Tom Filipovic and Jack Nenos were our best players.

Year 10 Basketball B – Not a good day for Year 10 Basketball, losing again 30-54. Thomas Valle, Seb Filipovic and Francis Maimarosia played well.

Year 10 Hockey – A close game, but we couldn’t get the job done, losing 1-3 against Mazenod. Nathan McNamara, Josh Eames and Dom Russo were our best.

Year 10 Table Tennis – Mazenod are always a tough fixture in Table Tennis, and this was no exception, with the boys going down 0-13 to 15-62. Our best players were Christian Locantro, Nicholas Phan and Deakin Tran.

Junior Sport

Year 8 Basketball A – The first loss for the season with our 8A team, going down to De La Salle 39-56. Suraj Zabalegui, Harry Chetwin and Max Sykes were our best players.

Year 8 Basketball B – A huge win for the boys, smashing De La 57-16. Pawel Gatluak Thong, Daniel Valle and Alex Valle were our best players.

Year 8 Basketball C – A great win for the C team against Mazenod, 39-32. Tyler De Sa, Sebastien Millares and Seth Burby were our best players.

Year 8 Basketball D – A big 36-10 against Mazenod, Aiden Tenace, Stephen Sakellarios and Bradman Docherty were our best.

Year 8 Hockey – A strong 3-0 victory over Parade, Daniel Biviano, Brodie Vanderhorst and Pat McMahon were our best.

Year 8 Table Tennis – A great week for the Year 8’s capped off by a 12-52 to 3-23 win over De La Salle. Plenty of boys played well, with 7 players winning their singles match-up.

Year 7 Basketball A – A fantastic win against St Bernard’s, winning 62-48 with a number of our best players out. Our best for the day were Christian Moraes, Jun Lee and Isaac Deayton.

Year 7 Basketball B – A close game, but ultimately couldn’t get the job done. We lost to St Bernard’s 29-36. Adam Kuruvilla, Liam Chong Ah Min and Derick Maimarosia were our best players.

Year 7 Hockey – The 5-1 loss was not reflective of the boys effort against St Bernard’s. Our best players were Abhav Chenanda, Xavier Blenkhorn and Angus Grenfell.

Year 7 Table Tennis – A good win against St Bernard’s, taking the match out 10-48 to 5-27. Zidane Heldt, Andrew Tan and Ben Yang were our best players.

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY

We had a great day last Friday with the house Cross Country championships at the Mannix Campus. A majority of the boys at the school ran, with many boys putting their best efforts forward.

The overall winner for the day was Annecy house, who also took out the Junior and Intermediate cups. Savio house won the Senior cup.
