Last week, Peter Tzitzivakos and Robert Amendola in Year 10 represented Salesian College at the City of Monash 10th Annual All Schools Leadership Program. This was a five day leadership workshop held at Clayton Community Centre from 30 April – 4 May 2018. The program included representatives from a range of schools within the Monash Council, where they:
- Developed their knowledge and skills in group development, leadership styles, conflict resolution, effective communication, public speaking and project management.
- Participated in a range of hands on activities and challenges that provided them with opportunities to practice their new skills, receive constructive feedback and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Explored the various ways these skills can be applied to the real world.
- Made new friends, learnt from other’s experiences and ignited a passion to have a positive impact on their community.
