The Educator conducted a far-reaching analysis of the education industry and is proud to recognise Salesian College Chadstone as one of the standout performers and celebrate its exemplary professional abilities and expertise.

The Educator‘s 30+ strong Intelligence Unit compiled the final winners list after the completion of a rigorous three month process, canvassing the opinions of objective industry experts and collating leading-edge research. In addition, further insight was provided by The Educator’s esteemed judging panel. The prestigious list of honourees was then matched with the 5-Star Best Schools’ precise criteria.

Salesian College Chadstone Recognised Among Australia’s 5-Star Best Schools

The Educator’s 5-Star Best Schools report spotlighted Australia’s most forward-thinking and impactful schools—those that redefined excellence in education. This inaugural initiative celebrated schools that demonstrated outstanding performance and innovation across multiple dimensions of student learning and wellbeing.

School leaders, administrators, and education professionals were invited to complete a detailed online survey, providing quantitative and qualitative data about their school’s programs, initiatives, and outcomes. The survey was designed to assess key performance areas that defined a truly exceptional school experience.

Submissions were assessed based on the following core pillars of educational excellence:

· Innovative extracurricular programs
· Comprehensive student support
· Safety and wellbeing initiatives
· Technology in learning
· Diversity and inclusion
· Holistic student development

The Educator’s editorial and research team evaluated all eligible entries, taking into account both measurable outcomes and the strength of each school’s narrative. Final selections were made based on overall impact, originality of programs, and demonstrated commitment to student success.

A total of 34 schools were awarded 5-Star Best Schools in Australia, providing inspiration and best practices for their peers across the country.
