In Year 10, Vocational Minor students have the opportunity to develop their food preparation skills and knowledge in their Food Technology class. They delve into various recipes that can be applied in real-life situations, focusing on aspects such as budget and convenience. Students are encouraged to suggest recipes that they frequently purchase, enabling them to practice and gain confidence in preparing these dishes in the kitchen. It’s truly rewarding to witness the students’ growing confidence in their culinary abilities each week, and I feel privileged to be a part of their journey.
