Acc Sports Report

ACC Football

 Year 7 Football- The year 7 football boys took on Mazenod at Johnson Oval (Mazenod College). The boys know it’s always a tough game to play out at Mazenod College. The boys played really well to come out with a four point win in a tight one. The final scores were 28-24. Amongst the best were Seb Bayard, Hugo Primiero and Angus Chetwin. Well done boys!

Year 8 Football- The year 8 football boys took on Parade at Salesian College Bosco Oval. The boys knew that Parade love wet weather footy and we struggled in the first half to adapt to the conditions. The boys finished strong, winning a must win game with the final score being 32-24. Amongst the best were Brodie Downes, Noah Montgomery, Lucas Caia, Oskar McCulloch, Brady Shipton and Harry Cashman. Well done boys!

Year 9 Football- The year 9 football boys took on De La Salle at Salesian College Bosco Oval. The boys knew that De La Salle are one of the top football teams in the division. The boys had a tough day with the final score being 7-171 with a loss. Amongst the best were Bryton Morris, Harly Billing and Jamie Mandile.

Year 10 Football- The year 10 football boys took on Parade at Parade College Garvey Oval. The boys had yet another big bus ride and another tough opponent in Parade College. The final score being 118-21 with Parade College coming out with the victory. Amongst the best were Billy Kakarantzas, Cooper Fry and Spencer Guzzo.

Senior Football- The senior football boys took on Emmanuel at Salesian College Bosco Oval. The boys played extremely well, winning the match in style. The final score being 135 to 64. Amongst the best were Christian Moraes, Zac Dunne and James McLaughlin. Well done boys!

 ACC Soccer

 Year 7B Soccer- The year 7B soccer boys took on De La Salle at the Mannix Soccer Pitch. The boys played well with a strong performance, winning the match 12-0. Amongst the best were Angelo Hampson, Louis Papoulias and Andreas Chester. Well done boys!

Year 7A Soccer- The year 7A soccer boys took on St. Bernard’s at St. Bernard’s Soccer Pitch. The boys had a massive bus drive and knew it was going to be a hard match against St. Bernard’s. The boys were very competitive, but lost the match 3-0. Amongst the best were Lucas Kousourakis, Alex Stopajnik and Peter Siamelis.

Year 8B Soccer- The year 8B soccer boys took on St. Bede’s at Aspendale Soccer Club. The boys played extremely well despite the slow start. The final scores were 9-1. Amongst the best were Steven Grammaticopoulos, Lucas Piper and Isaac Auon. Well done boys and hopefully the form can continue.

Year 8A Soccer- The year 8A soccer boys took on Mazenod at Mannix Soccer Pitch. The boys started slow but picked up the pace in the second half to make the final scores 4-2 with a must win game from Salesian. Good to see the boys get a win and try to secure a finals spot in a few weeks. Amongst the best were Harry Valentine, Rennie Edwards and Heze Yu. Well done boys.

Year 9B Soccer- The year 9B soccer boys took on Parade at the Mannix Soccer Pitch. The boys had a hard match but knew they had to win for a top two spot for finals. The final scores were 4-2 with a Salesian victory. Amongst the best were Josh Russo, Zac Raffa and JoJo Manual. Well done boys!

Year 9A Soccer- The year 9A soccer boys took on St. Bede’s at Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match away. The boys did very well with winning 4-2. Amongst the best were Dion Voralis, Sachi Kiridena and Ethan Gemetzis. Well done boys!

Year 10 Soccer- BYE

Senior B Soccer- The senior B soccer boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod Soccer Ground. The boys knew it was going to be a tough game against a strong soccer school in Mazenod. The final scores were 1-1. Amongst the best players were Max Stopajnik, Gavin Tone and Dylan Rayan.

Senior A Soccer- The senior A soccer boys took on St. Joseph’s Geelong at Gardiners Synthetic Reserve. The boys had a really strong team in and played really well with winning the match 9-0 in the end. Amongst the best players were Steven Sakellarios, Paul Boloutis and Lucas Stathopoulos. Well done boys!

ACC Junior Badminton

 Junior Badminton- The junior badminton boys took on St. Bernard’s at Mt Waverley Badminton Centre. The boys had a really strong win in style with winning the match 9 matches and 26 sets to 3 matches and 10 sets. Amongst the best were Mashashi Ogino, Jesse Gosal and Elbert Kim. Well done boys!

Intermediate Badminton- The intermediate badminton boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Knox Indoor Sports. The boys had their biggest bus trip for the year and knew that St. Joseph’s FTG are always a hard school to play against. The boys did well to win the match 12 matches and 35 sets to o matches and 1 set. Amongst the best were Aryan Batavia, Jayden Lim and Jack Ellis. Well done boys!
