On the 28 of March the Year 12VM classes went to the careers expo at the Box Hill Town Hall where we learnt more about the different careers and qualifications that are available to us. We were able to speak to industry experts who gave us tips on how to get qualified for the career of our dreams. It was great to be able to speak to representatives from the police force, paramedics, the army as well as representatives from all the trades.
There were lots of different resources on offer for us to take such as pens, highlighters, t shirts and beanies. It was also great to get tips on how we can improve our resume and cover letters to employers in our preferred industry.
We extend our thanks to Mr Augustus who drove the bus and Gateway Local Learning Employment Network for organising the day for us.
