ACC Cricket
Year 10 Cricket – The year 10 cricket team took on Whitefriars College at Salesian College, Bosco Oval. The boys were excited to play their first game at home for the season. Whitefriars on the day were too strong winning the match. The final scores were Salesian 7/99 off 20 overs and Whitefriars chased that down 2/100 off 16.2 overs. Amongst the best were Ben Brooks, Avaan Khalil and Jamie Ubachs.
Year 9 Cricket – The year 9 cricket team took on Parade at Parade College, Garvey Oval. The boys played in their first game away for the season playing a very strong Parade side. The boys did extremely well in a low scoring match winning the match over Parade. The final scores were Salesian 7/78 off 20 overs and Parade bowled out for 10/65 off 19.4 overs. Amongst the best were Roshan Gunatilake, Charlie Hawtin and Sam Iverson.

ACC Tennis
Year 10 Tennis – The year 10 tennis team took on Whitefriars College at Whitefriars College. The boys played and tried there hearts out but couldn’t get the win losing the match. The final scores were Whitefriars 11 sets and 91 games to Salesian 1 set and 28 games. Amongst the best were Christopher Grosadanis, Zac Dunne, Vas Michaelides and Julian Metsios.
Year 9 Tennis – The year 9 tennis team took on St. Bernard’s College at Oakleigh Tennis Club. The boys were excited to play at home for the first time of the season. The boys played well in a tight match but couldn’t get the chocolates on this occasion. The finals scores were Salesian 5 sets and 74 games to St. Bernard’s 7 sets and 75 games. Amongst the best were Andrew Byun, Nick Franklin and Max Schroder.

ACC Volleyball
Year 10A Volleyball – The year 10A volleyball team took on Whitefriars at Whitefriars. The boys played well but the final scores were, Whitefriars 2 sets and 64 points to Salesian 1 set and 64 points. Amongst the best were Joseph Casuscelli, Matthew Ngodara and Andrew Tan.
Year 10B Volleyball – The year 10B volleyball team took on Whitefriars at Whitefriars. The boys played extremely well and took the win on away soil. The final scores were Salesian 3 sets and 77 points to Whitefriars 0 sets and 59 points. Amongst the best were Jun Lee, Ryan Chamnanchang and Calvin Ramachandran.
Year 9A Volleyball – The year 9A volleyball team took on St. Bernard’s at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well and had an impressive victory. The final scores were Salesian 3 sets and 75 points to
St. Bernard’s 0 sets and 37 points. Amongst the best were Peter Yip, James Wright and Julian Geros.
Year 9B Volleyball – The year 9B volleyball team took on St. Bernard’s at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well with winning the match on this occasion. The final scores were Salesian 3 sets and 82 points to St. Bernard’s 0 sets and 70 points. Amongst the best were Snowy Evans, Nicholas Grillo and Sasha Ung.
Year 8A Volleyball – The year 8A volleyball team took on St. Joseph’s FTG at St. Joseph’s FTG Hall. The boys played well but were out classed by St. Joseph’s FTG. The final scores were St. Joseph’s FTG 3 sets and 75 points to Salesian 0 sets and 51 points. Too many players for the coach to pick for the best this week.
Year 8B Volleyball – The year 8B volleyball team took on St. Joseph’s FTG at St. Joseph’s FTG Hall. The boys played well but couldn’t get the win on this occasion against a very strong school in St. Joseph’s FTG. The final scores were St. Joseph’s FTG 3 sets and 75 points to Salesian 0 sets and 45 points. Too many players for the coach to pick for the best this week.
Year 7A Volleyball – The year 7A volleyball team took on Simonds at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys were excited to play on home soil and did very well winning the match. The final scores were Salesian 3 sets and 75 points to Simonds 0 sets and 48 points. Well done boys! Amongst the best were Elbert Kim, Brian Phung and Harry Valentine.
Year 7B Volleyball – The year 7B volleyball team took on Simonds at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys were excited to play on home turf again and did very well in doing so with winning the match. The final scores were Salesian 3 sets and 75 points to Simonds 0 sets and 53 points. Well done on another win boys! Amongst the best were Brady Shipton, Calvin Gillispie and David Marinovic Selak.
