Lego Tournament
Our RRC Lego Tournament, which started in Week 3, finished this week (Week 10). The winners of this tournament are Chris Frangotsinos and James Topliff from 10H. Chris and James were awarded with a Lego technic Race Plane and Skid Steer Loader. Ms Nia Kokoras presented the prizes to Chris and James.
Our next Lego tournament will start in Week 3, Term 2. Thank you to all who participated in this enjoyable learning challenge! We encourage all students to come visit us in the RUA Resource Centre, to join in this challenge next term.
Book Binge Competition
Our Term 1 Book Binge Reading competition finished last week (Week 9). All the students who read from at least three book categories went into the draw to win canteen vouchers. One of the winners of the draw, Bryton Morris (pictured) was very happy to receive a $10.00 canteen voucher. Bryton liked reading for this competition and is looking forward to participating again in Term 2.
Easter Bunny Book Quiz
Well done to over 300 students for participating in this book quiz. It seems that our students know their rabbit characters in books very well, as many of them were able to get all correct answers. All correct entries went into the draw, and 5 prizes of $5.00 canteen vouchers were given to students. One of the students (pictured) Beau Van Der Zweep enjoyed this quiz and was very happy to receive his voucher.
