This week, the College welcomed Jason Davenport, who facilitated the Year 9-10 AFL Sports Academy training session. Jason is the current Oakleigh Chargers and Vic Metro girls and boys coach. He also won a VFL premiership and best-and-fairest with Geelong, and played 28 AFL matches with Port Adelaide.
Our students were able to take away some valuable lessons from the session, and hopefully we can see more Salesian students progress into the Oakleigh Chargers system in the future.
