This week, our Year 7 and 8 Sports Academy students participated in their last technical sports training sessions for 2019.
Our soccer and basketball groups played practice matches against the Rowville Sports Academy and the Fairhills High School Basketball Academy, earning a 1-1 draw and a 53-49 overtime win.
Our cricket group spent the day at the high performance CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval, and the AFL group spent the day training at school, with a contact and tackling skills session led by specialist coach Malcolm Bangs in the afternoon.
A big thank you to all our coaches who have supported our Sports Academy this year. We look forward to developing these sessions further in 2020.
