Congratulations to Year 10 student George Karvounis, who will represent Australia in soccer as part of the Joeys 2019 team!
The Joeys 2019 team of 23 players will travel to Thailand to compete in the 2019 AFF U-15 Championship.
The group stage of the championship will commence on July 27, with the Final to be held on August 9.
Joeys Head Coach Trevor Morgan is excited about the future of the Joeys team.
“The 2019 AFF U-15 Championship represents the start of this Joeys age group’s journey to the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2021,” Morgan said.
“With a minimum of five and up to seven international matches over the two weeks of the tournament, the AFF U-15 Championship will give the players selected a great introduction to international football.”
