Parents’ Association Gifts

As a gesture of support to Salesian families and staff currently in isolation, the Parents’ Association recently organised gourmet grazing platters and messages of support to be delivered to each family’s home. We are thankful for the assistance of Gesualda in College Reception, who kindly coordinated contactless delivery of platters to families.

It was wonderful to receive heartfelt messages of appreciation from families who received our gifts.

“Our sincere thanks for the very thoughtful delivery we just received from the Parent’s Association. It’s wonderful to know that we’re being thought of and the community is looking out for each other.”

“We received this beautiful hamper today from the Parent’s Association and I just wanted to say thank you, it is lovely!”

“We received a lovely care package and note from the Salesian College Parents and Friends Association.”

“Our family was absolutely chuffed! What a beautiful, kind and thoughtful gesture, it definitely brightened our Friday afternoon.”

“We would like to express our sincerest thanks and gratitude for the package and the lovely card. Please pass on a big thank you to Fiona, Lillian and everyone for this gift. May the Lord Bless us all, keep us safe and enlighten us with the wisdom we need to get through these times.”

I want to take this opportunity to thank the Salesian Parent committee for sending us a delicious gourmet pack yesterday to our home. Please pass on our thanks to all staff and members of the Salesian community who reached out and supported us during this difficult time.”

“Thanks to Fiona Topliff, Lillian Talarico and the kind man that dropped off the meat platter last night on behalf of the school and Parents’ Association.”

We were thrilled to bits to receive a beautiful artisan antipasto box from Salesian on Friday – made our day!”

“We just wanted to say a big thank you for thinking of us. We received a beautiful hamper on Friday, which we thoroughly enjoyed. It really did brighten up our day. Hope you and your families are coping well during lockdown. Hopefully our boys will be back at school this week.”

“I received a grazing box from Lavish Catering and Events this afternoon and my family appreciates your kind gesture and thank you for keeping us in your thoughts.”

My family would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the gift hamper sent to us from the Parents’ Association. Your hamper came to us not only during the difficult time of quarantine but we were also experiencing a difficult time of loss which quarantine compounded. The arrival of the hamper and message of support was very much appreciated.”

“What a kind gesture of support to receive the lovely food platter from the Parents’ Association today. It’s been a challenging time (who knew there were more hurdles to overcome in 2021 after last year!) and your thoughtfulness really came at an opportune time. It’ll be nice for our family to enjoy a treat after home learning today.”

“A heart felt thank you to all for the care package we just received from Lavish Catering. Thank you for the thoughtful, kind gesture. We will definitely enjoy the treats. Stay safe and hopefully see you all back in school soon.”

“I just wanted to send you a little note to thank you for the lovely gesture of kindness shown towards my family and I during our 14 day quarantine. Receiving the beautiful package of artisan antipasto was not only unexpected, but so heart-warming and spirit-lifting. It made us realise how blessed we are to be part of such a caring and empathetic community such as Salesian. We are pleased to report that our lockdown ends at midnight tonight! We look forward to life returning to “normal” and our son returning back to school tomorrow. Thank you once again.”

With this week’s announcement of restrictions easing, we will continue to work towards facilitating upcoming College events (COVID-19 permitting). We look forward to reconnecting as a community in Term Three.
