On Wednesday the 4th of October, the Year 12 VCE Italian class embarked on their oral examinations. In a showing of courage and bravery, Yianni Kourelis, Hardu Ginoya, Marcellino Baselyous and Alessandro Pozzoli spoke in fluent Italian for 15 minutes to two oral examiners in two segmented sections: a general conversation and a discussion on their chosen topic. It was a huge success and we were well prepared thanks to the endless help of the LOTE department. A special mention goes to Mrs Bonne who vigorously prepared the boys for the day and gave up lunchtimes weekly to help develop the boys’ speaking skills.
