What an incredible week for Salesian College at the 2024 Australian School Basketball Championships!
Our Under 20 team fought valiantly, reaching the quarterfinals before an intense match against Bendigo Secondary College. Meanwhile, our Under 15 team showed exceptional grit, making it to the semifinals and finishing a commendable fourth after a hard-fought game against St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar.
A special shoutout to Oliver Mann, Ben Fardell, and Charlie Cochrane, who were named among the top 50 players of the tournament—a fantastic achievement that reflects their exceptional talent and hard work.
A huge thank you to all our players for their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
We would also like to thank our incredible staff, particularly coaches Mr Hawkes and Mr Niu, for their guidance and commitment throughout the competition.
