ACC Sports Report

ACC Year 7 Football
The Year 7 football boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod College. The boys knew Mazenod are very strong this year, and that it would be a tough match. The boys tried hard but didn’t get the win, with a 126 to 7 loss.

ACC Year 8 Football
The Year 8 football boys took on St. Joseph’s at Salesian College (Bosco Oval). The boys played hard and knew it was going to be a tough match-up with St. Joseph’s being a very strong football team. The boys didn’t get the win in the end, with the final score being 107 to 4.

ACC Year 9 Football
The Year 9 football boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Salesian College (Bosco Oval). The boys knew it was going to be tough against a strong St. Joseph’s FTG team. The game was really tight, and the boys did well to be only a goal down at halftime. The boys continued the momentum, but unfortunately, St. Joseph’s FTG were too strong in the end, winning the match 12.21 (93) to 6.0 (36). Well done, boys, on a good effort!

ACC Senior Football
The senior football boys had a massive game with the Davis Johnson Cup against Mazenod. The boys had the chance to go back to back with the Davis Johnson Cup, which hasn’t been done in a very long time. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on this occasion, with Mazenod winning by four goals.

Soccer

ACC Year 7A Soccer
The Year 7A soccer boys took on Mazenod at Salesian College (Mannix Campus). The boys were excited to play the first game of the season at Salesian. The boys started well, winning the match 4-2 in the end. Well done, boys, and hopefully, a strong season this year.

ACC Year 7B Soccer
The Year 7B soccer boys took on St. Bernard’s at East Keilor Synthetic Pitch. The boys had a long bus trip to St. Bernard’s, knowing that they would be very hard to beat. The boys did well to come away with a 2-1 victory. Well done, boys!

ACC Year 9A Soccer
The Year 9A soccer boys took on Parade College at Parade College (Waterford Pitch). The boys knew it was going to be a tough match, traveling to play at Parade. It was pretty close at halftime, with Salesian being down 1-0. Parade kept the momentum going and won the match 6-0 in the end.

ACC Year 9B Soccer
The Year 9B soccer boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod College. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match, playing against a very good side in Mazenod. The game was tight, but the boys did very well to hold onto a victory at Mazenod. The final score was 2-1. Well done, boys!

ACC Year 10 Soccer
The Year 10 soccer boys took on Parade College at Gardiners Reserve Synthetic. The boys were excited to play a team they had had good games against since Year 7. The boys knew Parade would always be hard to beat. The final score was 5-0, with Parade winning.

ACC Senior B Soccer
The Senior B soccer boys had yet another long bus trip to play Parade at Parade College (Bunjil Park). The boys knew Parade, being such a strong soccer school, would be very hard to beat. The boys played well but didn’t win on this occasion, with the final score being 2-1.

ACC Senior A Soccer
The Senior A soccer boys had a long trip to St. Joseph’s Geelong at Corio Soccer Club. The boys knew it was going to be a tough game. They started well, being pretty even with them at halftime. However, the boys fell away, with St. Joseph’s Geelong winning the match 9-0.

Badminton

ACC Junior Badminton
The junior badminton boys took on Whitefriars College at Whitefriars College. The boys had a long bus trip ahead of a tough match against a good school in Whitefriars. The boys did well but didn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were Whitefriars 8 matches and 23 sets to Salesian 4 matches and 13 sets.

ACC Intermediate Badminton
The intermediate badminton team took on Simonds at Mt Waverley Badminton Centre. The boys were excited to play at home this week. They did very well, winning the match. The final scores were Salesian 11 matches and 32 sets to Simonds 1 match and 4 sets. Well done, boys!

ACC Senior Badminton
The senior badminton boys took on Whitefriars at Whitefriars College. The boys played well but didn’t get the win in the end, with the final scores being Whitefriars 10 matches and 28 sets to Salesian 4 matches and 8 sets.
