ACC Football
Senior Football- The senior football boys took on St. Joseph’s FTG at Salesian College Bosco Oval. They had a tough match with the boys needing to win to make it into the grand final. The boys did well with a solid victory. The final scores were 95-45. Amongst the best were Christian Moraes, James McLaughlin and Ricky Theodoropoulos. Good luck for next week boys!
ACC Soccer
Year 7B Soccer- The year 7B soccer boys took on Parade in a must win match at Mannix Field Salesian College. The match was a tough one with the final scores being 2-0 for a Salesian win. Boys are very excited to be playing in the grand final next week. Top efforts from all the boys and we can’t pick a top three this week! Good luck for next week boys.
Year 8B Soccer- The year 8B soccer boys took on Mazenod in a must win match at Mannix Field Salesian College. The match was a tough one with the final scores being 4-0 for a Salesian win. Amongst the best were Isaac Auon, Lorenzo Fiorello and Aurelien Kong Shing Cheong. Good luck for next week boys!
Year 8A Soccer- The year 8A soccer boys took on St. Bernard’s at Gardiners Reserve Synthetic. The boys had a tough match with the boys having a draw and going into penalties. The final score was 2-2 with 4-3 in penalties. Amongst the best were Rennie Edwards, Yianni Spyropoulos and Heze Yu. Good luck for next week!
Year 10 Soccer- The year 10 soccer boys took on St. Joseph’s Geelong at Gardiners Synthetic Reserve. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match but were feeling confident they would have some advantage playing home. The game was tight all match but the final scores were 4-3 with a St. Joseph’s Geelong win. Amongst the best were Nathan Soares, Nick Grillo and Josh Athas
Senior B Soccer- The senior B soccer boys took on St. Bernard’s at St. Bernard’s Angel Field. The boys knew it was going to be a tough game knowing they had to win to get into the finals. The final scores were 3-0 with a St. Bernard’s win. Amongst the best were Ryan McCrea, Gavin Tone and Dylan Rayan. Well done on the season boys.
Senior A Soccer- The senior A soccer boys took on St. Bede’s at Bentleigh Greens Soccer Club. The boys knew it was going to be a tough match with the boys needing to win to make it into the grand final. The boys had a solid match but couldn’t get the win with a 2-1 loss to St. Bede’s. Amongst the best were Lucas Stathopoulos, Paul Boloutis and Julian Metsios.
ACC Junior Badminton
Junior Badminton- The junior badminton boys took on St. Bede’s at Mt Waverley Badminton Centre. It was a tough match with the final scores being 7 matches and 23 sets to 5 matches and 12 sets with a St. Bede’s win. The boys had a good season ang hopefully can go one further next year. Amongst the best were Masashi Ogino, Jesse Gosal and Elbert Kim. Well done on the season boys.
Intermediate Badminton- The intermediate badminton boys took on Mazenod at Mazenod College. The boys knew it was going to be the hardest game of the year with it being the grand final as well. The boys did extremely well and knew Mazenod are strong at badminton. The final scores were 9 matches and 25 sets to 3 matches and 11 sets with a Mazenod win. Amongst the best were Jayden Lim, Frances John Macasa and Siddarth Vinod. Well done on the season boys. Hopefully another grand final next year.
Senior Badminton- The senior badminton boys took on Whitefriars at Mt Waverley Badminton Centre. The boys knew it was a very important match as this could lead to a grand final. The final scores were 8 matches and 26 sets to 4 matches and 10 sets with a Whitefriars win. Amongst the best were Adam Kuruvilla, Gishain Fernando and Alexander Chann. Well done on the season boys.
