On the 30th of March the Year 11 Vocational Major cohort attended a day in the city for a Salvation Army youth homelessness excursion. We were given an insight on how bad the conditions are for people living on the streets. This included Bryans story of homelessness, and some of the sad statistics on homelessness. We learnt about people sleeping in tram stops and what we could do to support homeless people. Some of the suggestions given to us to support homeless people included donating food, clothes and toiletries.
