Year 8 Tennis – The year 8 tennis boys played Whitefriars at Currawong Tennis Club. The boys were excited to finally get on the court after a few wash outs from previous weeks. The boys played well against good opposition but didn’t get the win with the final scores being Whitefriars 8 sets and 62 games to Salesian 4 sets and 44 games. Amongst the best were Rahul Sajan, Onindu Dissanayaka and Bayley Richardson.

ACC Volleyball
Year 10A Volleyball – The year 10A boys played St. Bede’s Mentone at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well against good opposition, unfortunately the boys lost on this occasion. The final scores were St. Bede’s Mentone 2 sets and 66 points to Salesian 1 set and 68 points. Amongst the best were Matthew Ngodara, Andrew Tan and Isaac McKnight.
Year 10B Volleyball – The year 10B boys played St. Bede’s Mentone at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well against good opposition and got the win securing 1st place on the ladder for finals. The final scores were St. Bede’s Mentone 1 sets and 56 points to Salesian 2 set and 68 points. Amongst the best were Isaac Deayton, James McLaughlin and Luca Mandile. Well done boys.
Year 9A Volleyball – The year 9A boys played St. Bede’s Mentone at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys started well with being tight in scores but couldn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were St. Bede’s Mentone 3 sets and 75 points to Salesian 0 sets and 62 points. Amongst the best were James Wright, Ibrihm Mahdy and Cooper Fry.
Year 9B Volleyball – The year 9B boys played St. Bede’s Mentone at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well and secured a spot in the finals next week. The final scores were St. Bede’s Mentone 1 sets and 68 points to Salesian 2 sets and 75 points. Amongst the best were Samuel Anthony, Sasha Ung and Oliver Mann. Well done boys.
Year 8A Volleyball – The year 8A boys played Whitefriars at Whitefriars College. The boys were excited for the last match of the season but knew it was going to be challenging with such a strong school in Whitefriars. The boys didn’t win on this occasion, the final scores being Whitefriars 2 sets and 56 points to Salesian 1 set and 49 points. Too many players to pick from the best this week. Well done on the season boys.
Year 8B Volleyball – The year 8B boys played Whitefriars at Whitefriars College. The boys were excited for the last match of the season but knew it was going to be challenging with such a strong school in Whitefriars. The boys started well but couldn’t get the chocolates on this occasion. The boys didn’t win on this occasion, the final scores being Whitefriars 3 sets and 75 points to Salesian 0 set and 40 points. Too many players to pick from the best this week. Well done on the season boys.
Year 7A Volleyball – The year 7A boys played Whitefriars College at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on this occasion. The final scores were Whitefriars 3 sets and 77 points to Salesian 0 sets and 48 points. Amongst the best were Jiho Lee, Calvin Gillispie and Will Scalzi.
Year 7B Volleyball – The year 7B boys played Whitefriars College at Oakleigh Recreation Centre. The boys played well but didn’t get the win on this occasion, they were very competitive throughout the match though. The final scores were Whitefriars 2 sets and 73 points to Salesian 1 sets and 58 points. Amongst the best were Rennie Edwards, John Miliotis and James Tanner.
